Two Weeks in Denver

As of today, I have officially been in Denver for two weeks. (My time goes by fast!) I’m grateful for the friends that have let me into their house, as I am deep in the job hunt. Soon, I hope to land a job in this tech hub. However, that’s not the only thing I will be doing. I’m eager for the new opportunities that are ahead once my best friend gets here in September or October! This city has a lot to offer, and an amazing Denver University of Houston Alumni group that I’m eager to get to know better. #GoCoogs – In addition, I’m looking forward to meet the teams that are going to the NAGAAA World Series in Austin this year. Ending of 2015 and Beginning 2016

The start of 2015, coming back from San Francisco, was something I had to do. By the end of 2014 I landed a great position, with a lot of potential, at a marketing firm in Fort Worth. It gave me the privilege to work with clients such as Reebok, Under Armour, MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and MAC Cosmetics. Each one of these clients taught me something new, and the importance of working as a collaborative team and setting the agenda for each client’s needs has taught me what to be prepared for in 2016. However, over time things took place (that I don’t regret), the tides turned and I left the agency on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving in 2015.
