Facing Your Fears Facing your fears is liberating and life changing. Recently, several curve balls have been thrown my way as I near a year in Denver. Looking back a month’s time frame my Pepaw has been placed into hospice, I got laid off, and today I will be flying to a place that holds a very dark space in my heart, Orange County (John Wayne Airport). This location doesn’t only bring back memories from Exodus, ex-gay therapy, but also the process of going there. All the different people telling me that my sexual orientation could be changed, and yet here I am a gay man. The crazy part is the event took place 7 years ago tomorrow.
